I am seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Manager to join their growing team. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee the financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting functions.

What You’ll Do
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Routine tasks like journal entries, and reconciliation, AP / AR Management, Payroll Processing, general ledger maintenance , internal controls and audits and fixed asset management.Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and other reports in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships, including overseeing trust accounting.Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain strong internal controls.Assist in strategic financial planning and provide insights to support the firm's growth.Implement process improvements and oversee the maintenance of accounting systems and software.What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations applicable to law firms.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Elite, Aderant) and advanced Excel skills.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
