Description
The Center for Academic Success and Enrichment (CASE) seeks a Director of Operations to manage the operations, administration, systems, and processes for the department. Oversees the confidential workflow regarding systems and processes as they relate to administrative processes and serving students.
- Serve as a member of the CASE leadership team.
- Supervise professional staff members in the department by mentoring, training, and developing all staff under their supervision.
- Manage departmental operations and systems and their interrelationship with other MCPHS departments. Plan and troubleshoot solutions to systems that impact student success.
- Develop and maintain CASE website, links, brochures and communications.
- Develop and maintain all CASE related forms and flows in partnership with other University departments.
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of special projects for the department including all communications related to special projects.
- Ensure annual reporting, assessment, and compliance obligations for the department are completed.
- Serve as liaison to other University departments regarding records, CASE usage of MCPHS technology and software, resources, and processes related to academic services and support.
- Manage a cohort of students and provide support, solutions, and / or referrals as appropriate.
- Assist with triaging student academic concerns using a case management model.
- Responsible for preparing documents and reports related to departmental functions, academic support and services.
- In conjunction with other staff, develop, implement, and periodically review policies and procedures in MCPHS publications.
- Serve as liaison to parents / guardians, families and / or designated contact of MCPHS students as appropriate.
Requirements
Required :
Master's degree higher education, counseling or a related fieldFive years of experience post-graduate school in a higher education setting that involves providing direct service to college students.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and take initiative in a fast‑paced office environment.Ability to work collaboratively with other staff from departments across the University.Understanding of the educational, cultural, and social needs of a diverse student population (domestic and international student community).Demonstrates the ability to work individually and as a member of a professional team, establishing strong working relationships across campus constituencies.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with urgency when appropriate.Ability to manage confidential materials and maintain confidentiality when working on specific task or projects.High proficiency in use of technology including : Microsoft Office, Salesforce Student Success Hub, Ellucian, Blackboard, and web‑page development.Physical Requirements
Standing, sitting, manual dexterity, ability to move between offices and floors of buildings.Ability to be physically in attendance at designated worksite during scheduled work hours and to work some evenings and weekends.Ability to lift up to 5‑10 lbs.Apply
