Job : Snowflake Architect / Administrator

Location : Charlotte, NC (4 days onsite)

Summary : This role is to administer the implementation of Snowflake at EverBank. Technical direction will be provided from Snowflake professional services.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy a secure, scalable, and high-performance Snowflake architecture.
• Set up Dev, QA, and Production environments and a standard deployment pattern.
• Define environment standards, data models, and access patterns aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Set up and manage Snowflake accounts, roles, users, and privileges using RBAC and security best practices.
• Configure resource monitors, virtual warehouses, and workload management strategies to optimize cost and performance.
• Implement advanced capabilities including Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Zero-Copy Cloning to support data versioning, automation, and recovery needs.
• Develop common patterns for data ingestion pipelines and orchestration of batch and near-real-time workflows.
• Support CI / CD pipelines for Snowflake object deployments and integration testing.
• Enable metadata cataloging and lineage tracking.
• Ensure secure data exchange between cloud and on-premise systems.
• Ensure enterprise-grade security measures are applied at the joint direction of Snowflake and EverBank's information security team.
• Integrate with data governance platforms outside of Snowflake.
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, DevOps teams, and business users to deliver scalable, well-governed data solutions.
• Act as a Snowflake SME—offering guidance, sharing best practices, and mentoring technical team members throughout the implementation.
