We're looking for an experienced and results-driven person to join our Spanish Fort, AL shop and take excellent care of our customers' vehicles.

WHAT A DAY AS OUR AUTOMOTIVE R&R TECHNICIAN LOOKS LIKE :

  • Working from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Thursday and 7 : 30 AM to 11 : 30 AM, Friday (start your weekend early!)
  • Skillfully removing and reinstalling automatic and manual transmissions
  • Working with drivetrain components like mounts, CV axles, drivelines, and transfer cases
  • Using various tools and hands-on techniques to correctly diagnose the source of transmission issues
  • Performing maintenance services like pan drops, fluid and filter changes, and external inspections
  • Test-driving vehicles to verify customer concerns and confirm repairs
  • Coordinating with builders and service advisors to support an efficient workflow
  • Helping with additional tasks as needed, including cleaning the bay, organizing tools, and moving non-running vehicles in and out of the shop

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as an R&R technician or a similar role
  • Successful completion of 2+ transmission removals and replacements in the past 2 months
  • Ability to remove / replace a transmission in book time or less
  • Ability to provide and use basic tools
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts and keep up with a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to operate FWD, RWD, AWD, and 4x4 vehicles
