Responsibilities :

• Takes personal responsibility for improving patient satisfaction and care experiences.
• Applies research and evidence-based practices to clinical decision-making and care planning.
• Experience : 2+ years of RN experience required; ED / pre-hospital preferred.
• Knowledge and Skills : Must demonstrate knowledge of patient care and appropriate interactions based on patient age
• Growth & Development : Understanding of principles of growth and development across the lifespan and ability to assess and interpret age-specific needs.
• Relationship Building : Ability to establish positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, support staff, and patients / families.
• Clinical Judgment : Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills in patient care.
• Physical Requirements : Mobility, visual manual dexterity, and physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning patients.
• Flexible Shifts : UPMC offers flexible shift options, including night and weekend shifts with premium pay. Employees must have at least 6 months of nursing experience to qualify for these programs.
