Join Our Team as a Hematology / Oncology Physician!

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients battling hematology and oncology challenges? We have an exciting locum opportunity for a dedicated Hematology / Oncology Physician in beautiful Richmond, Indiana! This role offers a chance to provide full-time clinical and on-call care, focusing primarily on hematology (65%) and oncology (35%).

About the Role

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will :

  • See 18-20 patients daily in a vibrant clinic setting.
  • Participate in weekend rounding for hospital patients.
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists and advanced practice providers.
  • Be part of a supportive team with 2 oncologists and 4 APPs .

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include :

  • Providing comprehensive care to hematology and oncology patients.
  • Handling consults and rounding on hospital patients during on-call shifts.
  • Participating in a rotation for weekend call (Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM).
  • Ensuring timely and effective patient care with a focus on collaboration.

    • What We’re Looking For

    To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • Board certification in both Hematology and Oncology .
  • An active Indiana license or participation in the IMLC.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS .
  • A commitment to patient care and teamwork.

    • Working Conditions

    This position offers :

  • Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch).
  • Overtime applicable after 8 hours minimum.
  • A collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
