Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  • Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
  • Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
  • Manage tools from initial design to end-of-use disposition.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
  • Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs.
  • Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
  • Develop integrated work statements and the sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
  • Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)

  • Associate Level : 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)

  • Experience with CMES application
  • 5 or more years of aerospace systems and test fabrication and / or installation experience
  • Ability to provide shipside support to resolve production issues
  • Familiarity with systems & test commodities and / or manufacturing processes
  • Mid-Level : 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Senior Level : 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    Union Representation

    This is a union-represented position. In locations where SPEEA representation applies, this job family will be covered by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Applicable and appropriate educational / certification credentials from an accredited institution and / or equivalent experience is required.

    Shift

    This role is for 1st shift, however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2) : $60,350 - $81,650
  • Summary pay range for Mid-level (Level 3) : $69,700 - $94,300
  • Summary pay range for Senior level (Level 4) : $81,600 - $110,400

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. US based job, US Person required.
