Description :

The unit has 19 beds and employs 26 full-time equivalents.

The core staffing needs are 33.

During the day shift, the unit includes 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 Health Unit Coordinator, and 1 Technician.

The night shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 Health Unit Coordinator, and 1 Technician.

The patient-to-nurse ratios are either 4 : 1 or 5 : 1.

The types of equipment utilized include Philips systems.

The electronic medical record system is Meditech.

Candidates without the required skill set will not be considered for the role.

Candidates with preferred skills will be prioritized.

Typical procedures performed in this unit include tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care.

A positive culture fit is essential for this role.

Floating to other areas is not required.

The dress code consists of royal blue scrubs.

Candidates should refer to unit policies and guidelines for additional information.

Weekend shifts will be rotated, but there is no on-call requirement.
