Executive Housekeeper

Summary

This position is located at the MWR Trumbo Point Vacation Rentals Naval Air Station Key West, which provides lodging for eligible patrons. The incumbent supervises all housekeeping, janitorial, and laundry employees. Vacation Rentals have 36 mobile homes and 74 townhouses.

Duties

• The incumbent is available to clean mobile homes, townhouses and wash and dry laundry as staffing needs require.
• Ensures adequate staff is scheduled to maintain cleanliness standards
• Counsel's employees for violation of MWR or NAF policies or regulations in accordance with MWR Personnel guidelines.
• Incumbent is responsible for training of housekeeping staff and ensures they receive all necessary NAVOSH and HAZMAT training.
• Ensures all staff is aware of standards of dress and personal grooming and maintains these standards at all times while working.
• Prepare performance appraisals for housekeeping staff and submits them in a timely manner
• Schedules housekeeping and laundry staff based on numbers of patrons checking in and checking out.
• Inspects all structures (mobile homes, townhomes, and laundry facilities) to ensure the proper level of cleanliness is maintained. Takes appropriate corrective action for any housekeeping discrepancies. Any other discrepancies will be reported to management.
• Incumbent acts as the liaison between housekeeping staff and management.
• Inventories cleaning supplies and tools on a weekly basis and advises
• Performs other duties as assigned.
