Key Responsibilities of the AR Clerk :
Process and post incoming customer payments (checks, wires, ACH) with accuracy and efficiencyGenerate and send customer invoices in accordance with contracts and billing schedulesMonitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances in a professional, persistent mannerReconcile AR accounts monthly, working closely with the CFO to resolve discrepanciesInvestigate billing issues and provide timely resolution to clients and internal stakeholdersAssist in preparing and issuing monthly customer statementsMaintain and organize financial documentation for audits and reportingCommunicate updates regarding customer account status with internal departmentsEnsure AR processes follow internal controls and financial regulationsSuggest and implement improvements to streamline AR workflowQualifications of the AR Clerk :
3+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized organizationProficiency with QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Enterprise is a PLUSStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entryExcellent communication skills for internal collaboration and external customer follow-upComfortable working independently and taking initiative to solve problemsExperience with Excel and basic financial reporting preferred
