Senior Manager, Talent Management

The Senior Manager, Talent Management leads the design and deployment of core talent management processes across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, talent planning, succession planning, career development, and leadership frameworks. The Senior Manager serves as both a project manager and process designer leveraging research, benchmarking, and internal stakeholders to create impactful, user-friendly talent programs that support employee growth, talent pipelines, and business outcomes. This individual is part of the Talent Management Center of Expertise (COE) and reports directly to the Senior Director, Talent Management.

Major Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager and / or design contributor for core talent lifecycle processes including performance management, talent planning, talent review and succession planning, career development and leadership models.
  • Use research, benchmarking and internal consulting to design high impact talent practices and programs that are easy to use, support our people and drive the business.
  • Partner with HR technology team to design a simple and effective digital employee experience for talent practices.
  • Lead change management efforts needed to support HR partners and drive adoption across our markets, functions and departments, including building deployment and communication plans.
  • Provide support to HR and leaders on talent planning and building strong pipelines.
  • Engage in ongoing stakeholder management through effective collaboration with HR and COE partners to ensure we are designing strong practices that work well for our business.
  • Serve as a strategic partner by providing thought leadership on talent strategy across Medline.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Work Experience

  • At least 8 years of HR experience.
  • Experience managing large projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience designing talent management practices, processes and programs and / or experience in a client-facing HR role with responsibility for leading talent planning, executing talent reviews and / or performance management.
  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with all levels of the organization, including strong facilitation skills.
  • Ability to both think strategically and focus on details.
  • Fluent in PowerPoint; can create visual decks that easily convey complex information.
  • Preferred Job Requirements

    Education

  • Advanced degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology.
  • Work Experience

  • Talent Management experience in a large and / or global company.
  • Experience designing user experiences in talent technologies.

    The anticipated salary range for this position : $132,600.00 - $199,160.00 Annual. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and / or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
