Overview

COOK (FULL TIME) at Bon Appétit Management Company . Location : 2250 Lawson Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Schedule : Full time, Monday–Friday; hours may vary. Online applications accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, maintaining temperature and quality; tastes all prepared items.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness; stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; stores food and supplies per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment; assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required; reports maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Follows HACCP standards; adheres to company policies and safety procedures.
