The Dealer Sales Rep (DSR) is an outside sales role tasked to develop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers. Owns the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with key customers in the East Washington and the Western Mountain market. This role is part of an integrated local sales team focused on delivering value to customers and achieving sales and margin growth expectations. Ensures superior value is delivered to customers in support of primary demand efforts. Responsible for promoting and selling Distribution's full range of products, including engineered wood, commodities, and specialty building products.

Accountabilities :

• Establishes, cultivates, and protects the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with assigned customers.
• Coordinates customer strategies in support of delivering superior value to customers and growing wallet-share and profitability.
• Uses market knowledge, relationships, and growing experience to seek out opportunities with new and existing customers for Distribution's full range of products.
• Gathers market intelligence and translates it into valuable input to drive decisions around product mix, pricing, inventory levels and demand outlook. Uses that input to help drive decision-making.
• Develops and executes marketing and communication plans with customers, including promotions, specials, market pull through activities, and updates to products / pricing / service.

Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $68,000 - $102,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Sales Incentive Program, which offers a quarterly cash bonus.

Retirement : Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation : We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
