Description : Job Summary :

The Project Manager will manage the full product lifecycle for the product. This role will lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional engineering projects from concept through commercialization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in product lifecycle management, especially in a Stage Gate process environment, and have experience managing projects that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will oversee multiple concurrent development projects, ensure that these projects stay on time and within budget, manage resources effectively, and mitigate risks proactively. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality, innovative products that exceed customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage multiple concurrent engineering projects through the Stage Gate product development process, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and market requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource plans, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as other departments such as quality, procurement, application support, and customer support, marketing and finance.
• Track and report on key performance indices (CPI, SPI) to monitor project health and drive corrective actions when necessary.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and manage project financials, ensuring alignment with budget targets and financial goals.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps that align engineering deliverables with business objectives and market timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear and timely communication on program status, milestones, risks, and changes.
• Champion best practices in project and program management; mentor teams in project discipline and continuous improvement.
• Support a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance within the engineering organization.
