Position Description : Heavy equipment operators are responsible for the inspection, operation, and maintenance of heavy construction machinery including, but not limited to, cranes, dozers, track loaders, rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, rubber tire backhoes, motor graders, trucks, and compaction equipment. This is a safety sensitive position.

Essential Duties :

• Operate heavy construction machinery including, but not limited to, cranes, dozers, track loaders, rubber tire loaders, track backhoes, rubber tire backhoes, motor graders, trucks, and compaction equipment.
• Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it's operationally ready at all times.
• Perform maintenance work on equipment such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Inspect and document service on heavy equipment.
• Ensure that equipment is clean, serviced, and stored at shift completion.
• Follow and comply with all safety policies.
• Promote a safe work environment and communicates jobsite hazards.
