Load / unload tankers at pickup points. Employees of vendors will unload product Overnights required as business demands (typically 0-8 nights per month) - Hotel, no sleeper cabs Identify maintenance needs for any and all vehicle units, to be reported into transportation electronic platform (SAMSARA) and management; required to perform minor maintenances as needed Completing necessary documents for shipment, including but not limited to Sales Order Bills of Lading, Transfer Logs, etc. Maintain a clean and safe operating environment compliant with OSHA and all applicable standards High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum of 2 years’ job-related experience (preferred) Valid CDL A Driver’s License (required) Must be able to drive manual and automatic (required) Valid Tanker Endorsement (required) Valid Hazmat Endorsement (preferred) Must be able to travel commercial vehicles to and from Canada (required) Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal traffic regulations Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures including pre-trip and post trip inspections Knowledge of safety protocols related to transporting goods and awareness of emergency procedures in case of accidents or breakdowns Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, shippers, and receivers Strong time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules Professionalism in representing the company to customers.
