Job Details

Design customized equipment using 2D and 3D design software to create models and manufacturing drawings.

Evaluate and document new design processes and tools in collaboration with Product Teams.

Communicate project decisions and deliverables with the Project Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, and Project Manager.

Assess project cost impacts related to materials, engineering labor, and design decisions against initial estimates.

Apply design-for-manufacturability principles to enhance production efficiency.

Collaborate with Manufacturing and external suppliers for component selection, production, and assembly.

Manage in-house resources effectively.

Plan and obtain approvals for scope changes when necessary.

Support research and development by building and field-testing prototypes, helping transition new products from R&D to commercial production.

Assist Applications Engineers in converting sales drawings into production-ready engineering drawings.

Oversee project management activities, ensuring seamless coordination of engineering drawings, documentation, scheduling, factory acceptance testing, and timely equipment delivery.

Travel as needed to oversee equipment installation and commissioning less than 25% of time

Contribute to team goals by completing assigned tasks and other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

3-5 years of experience in a related field.

2-3 years of experience with 2D & 3D design software (including design and basic analysis).

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to calculate loads and deflections; mechanically inclined.

Self-motivated with an innovative mindset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholder
