Job title : Healthcare QA Engineer

Location : Blue Ash, OH (4 days onsite a week)

Job Duration : 6 months (Contract to Hire)

PR : $60 / hr on W2

Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a strong background in health and wellness, ideally within the pharmacy domain (CVS, Walgreens, Anthem, UHC, or similar environments).
  • This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of an application used by pharmacy technicians, with a strong emphasis on testing, automation, and effective communication with development teams.

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience in the health and wellness / pharmacy industry, with exposure to applications used by pharmacy technicians.
  • Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Taska, Selenium).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain test outcomes and reasoning to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with large-scale health and wellness or insurance platforms (e.g., CVS, Walgreens, Anthem, UHC).
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in healthcare applications.
  • What Were Looking For :

  • A thorough and inquisitive tester who not only identifies issues but can also articulate how results were derived.
  • Even when test outcomes are not correct, the ability to clearly communicate reasoning back to developers is essential.
  • Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts utilizing modular frameworks and best practices
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate application functionality.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to clearly communicate testing outcomes, including how results were derivedeven when results are unexpected or incorrect.
  • Proactively identify defects, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities in the application.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements, user workflows, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Contribute to automation framework improvements and maintain test automation suites.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release readiness activities.
