Position Summary

The Delegated Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for all assigned credentialing activities, and the coordination of associated delegated credentialing functions. Acts as a liaison between the provider, staff and hospital / clinic leadership; and facilitates communications between these entities as appropriate. The Coordinator prepares for and supports the Provider committee and / or MCC Network Council committee meetings, as well as support to the respective Medical Directors. Serves as a subject matter expert, who may be assigned major projects within the department, to include oversight and compliance of credentialing activities.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between the Centralized Credentialing Office and hospital administration / support departments and facilitates communications between these entities as appropriate
• Assists Delegation Manager with the scheduling of pre / sub-delegation audits; accurately completing delegation audit tool and arranging the annual health plan delegation audits.
• Reporting audit outcomes to the appropriate MHS / MCC network and management leadership / committees.
• Organizes and coordinates daily support activities for the credentialing staff to assure timely completion of tasks, communications, projects and follow-through.
• Performs QA review of all initial and recredentialing files, assessing if file meets "clean file" criteria, and moving forward for Medical Director or committee approval accordingly.
• Coordinates services for assigned Credentialing committee (MAP, MCC), such as preparing agenda, compiling agenda back-up information, coordinating meeting arrangements, preparing red-flag file summaries, and disseminating meeting announcements.
• Maintains committee minutes as assigned (MAP and / or MCC committees) and archives assuring confidentiality and dissemination of information within delegated credentialing manual.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $62,608.00 - $90,106.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
