The American Autism & Rehabilitation Center (AARC) is currently seeking 1–2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team as soon as possible .

Position Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) implements individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA, BCBA-D, BCaBA, or licensed professional. The RBT uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to teach skills, support behavior reduction, and promote social and communication growth for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental or behavioral challenges.
RBTs at AARC work closely with our interdisciplinary team to support proactive, evidence-based interventions and comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior plans and teaching programs as directed by supervising behavior analysts
Collect and record accurate data daily on client programs and behaviors
Assist in restructuring environments and activities to promote positive behaviors
Maintain professionalism when collaborating with team members, families, and caregivers
Support caregivers in learning and applying ABA strategies
Complete daily session notes and ensure timely documentation through the electronic platform
Communicate regularly with supervisors and respond promptly to internal communications (Slack, email, etc.)
Participate in community and AARC events as needed
Follow all company policies and procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, typically 8 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (hours may vary based on caseload and client needs)
RBTs provide services that align with their stated availability and assigned caseloads
Qualifications
RBT Certification preferred (training available for qualified candidates)
High school diploma required; BA / BS degree preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
CPR / BLS and AED certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to collaborate compassionately and professionally in a team environment
At least 2 years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities preferred
Basic computer literacy and data entry skills

Copy of RBT certification (if applicable)
Background screening and drug test clearance
Physical Requirements
This position may require lifting or moving up to 50 lbs and maintaining a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods. The role also requires clear communication, both verbal and written.
