Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates age-specific care of patients presenting to the Emergency Dept. (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). Responsible for delegation of assigned personnel. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing procedures and is competent in the use of all department equipment. Responsible for pt. / families, promotes a positive atmosphere and teamwork within the department. Employee must be a patient advocate, support AHHA nursing philosophy, maintain professionalism and exhibit leadership skills. Must have strong public relations skills.
Requirements :
Current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York required.
Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
