General Summary

Under minimal supervision, this position provides professional accounting support to the General Accounting and / or department related to the maintenance, processing, and analysis of accounting records in a manner consistent with the company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records that validate the accuracy of accounting information and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to support the monthly close process.
• Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to support strategic decision making.
• Participate in cross training efforts for developmental purposes and departmental coverage.
• Prepare selected balance sheet reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Perform special projects and additional assignments as directed that support the General Accounting function.
• Participate in the review of the monthly financial package to ensure the accuracy of financial information and to assist in strategic decision making.
• Respond to inquiries made by upper management related to financial package to support strategic decision making.
• Review of various accounting reports to ensure the accuracy and clarity of information presented.

Base Salary Range

$61,632.00 - $92,448.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
