Local Contract CT Technologist - $74-77 per hour

Equiliem is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a local contract job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CT Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract CT Technologist Duties and Responsibilities :

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure tohelp them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.
• Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Requirements :
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
• Two (2) Years' Experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Siemens Scanner experience (6 months) Preferred :
• Injection certification preferred-must be willing to complete during orientation process.
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred. Soft Skills Required :
