Maintenance Technician II
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks on various electromechanical systems and equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency and reliability by troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining machinery and electrical systems within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electromechanical systems, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Install new equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs completed on equipment.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to improve processes and equipment reliability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related technical field.Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical systems.Experience with electrical maintenance, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, drives, and motors.Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their applications.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Excellent communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.Benefits
