Service Writer

Pridestaff is currently seeking an experienced Service Writer for a company in Ontario that is in the Heavy Equipment Sales and Repair industry. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate : $24-$28 (depending on experience)

Shift : Monday Friday, 8am to 5pm

Job Duties : Responsible for reviewing work orders, communicating effectively with customers during all stages of service including, quoting, gaining approval of service, updating customers on status of service, collecting payment, and scheduling field service for customers. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong computer skills, strong organizational skills, strong professional demeanor, and motivation to provide great customer service to our clients.

Job Requirements :

• Must have experience working as a Service Writer or similar role
• Must have knowledge of heavy equipment or industrial equipment (prefer farming equipment and / or automotive industry experience)
• Experience working with warranty processes and service writing
• Strong focus on customer service; Ability to assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to take direction and work in collaborative environment
• Strong knowledge of computers
• Valid driver's license.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
