Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in commercial skilled trades. We are currently seeking experienced journeyman commercial plumbers to join our tenant improvement team. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial new construction or tenant improvement projects. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking for consistent work, a strong support team, and a company that values your trade.

  • Stable night shift schedule : Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Two-week training program
  • Annual performance reviews for ongoing development and growth
  • Overtime available but not guaranteed weekly

Responsibilities

  • Attach or install plumbing pipes such as : PVC, ABS, Cast Iron (no hub) and / or copper
  • Mount new fixtures according to manufacture specifications and municipal codes
  • Install service for grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems and utilities within a commercial retail environment
  • Perform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites which includes but not limited to dig trenches, set braces to support excavations sides, erect scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials
  • Properly use equipment such as a jack hammers and saw cutters
  • Read and layout from blueprints, plans and isometric drawings
  • Must be able to work according to current OSHA safety guidelines and policies
  • Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of commercial plumbing experience
  • Valid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Verbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication
