Our clinic is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support our dental team on Saturdays and Sundays. Responsibilities :

Assist the dentist during emergency dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

Take x-rays as needed

Assist in basic dental procedures such as tooth extractions, fillings, root canals and crown preps under the supervision of the dentist.

Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments

Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office tasks as needed

Requirements :

Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience

Proficiency in dental procedures and terminology

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care

Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and multitask in a fast-paced clinic

Flexible schedule availability for Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday shifts (30-34 hours / week)

Reliable transportation to the clinic location
