Background Screening Specialist

Responsibilities :
- Assist the Background Screening team in coordination with the Background Screening Leader.
- Collect, analyze, and validate data from internal systems and external agencies.
- Manage background screening cases in alignment with federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders regarding screening status, documentation, and follow-up needs.
- Conduct internal system searches to support visitor badging and site access protocols.
- Prepare background screening reports for internal teams including Adjudication, Corporate Investigations, Ethics, Law, and Human Resources.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience , Master's degree with 1+ year , or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of experience in background screenings, investigations, or a related compliance field2+ years managing caseloads and navigating electronic case management or data tracking systems3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Preferred Qualifications :
Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) CertificationFamiliarity with criminal justice procedures and stages of adjudicationUnderstanding of employment law as it relates to background checks (state and federal levels)Knowledge of EEOC guidance and compliance expectations in the background screening processAbility to handle confidential and sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in a secure and trustworthy mannerMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA / EEO / Veterans / Disabled Employer.
