Purpose
Supports the execution of information security architecture initiatives by documenting, configuring, deploying and maintaining moderately complex security technologies. Assist with Information Security projects to deliver the business requirements and functional design of the system solution and testing strategy.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the rapid execution of information security initiatives by maintaining an appropriate level of prioritization, focus and persistence.
- Assess the security posture of applications and infrastructure.
- Analyze internal security and business needs and desired results and contribute to development of software solutions with responsibility for the delivery of software applications, with limited guidance.
- Develop project plans for small projects or work streams of larger projects / programs and drive assist in the execution of these plans to ensure project success.
- Act as a project assurance representative and provide security subject matter guidance on security projects.
- Establish and maintain appropriate communication, engagement and escalation with stakeholders as needed.
- Serve as knowledge source for the escalation of moderately complex application design and development issues.
- Contribute to the solution design (including metrics and measures) and implementation, including associated change management activities.
- Maintain project records in accordance with Zurich Project Management standards.
- Business Travel, as required.
- Extended Hours during Peak Periods / Shift Work / Holiday Work, as required.
- Regular Predictable Attendance.
- Visibility in the Office, as required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Information Security area ORZurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Cyber Security Certification and 4 or more years of experience in the Information Security area ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Security area ANDSolution engineering or security architecture experience.Experience working in information security transformation with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications
Information technology certifications; CISA, CISM, CISSP, Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, Palo Alto.Customer service experience.Strong analytical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Cloud Engineering Experience.Compensation
The proposed salary range for this position is $81,800.00 - $133,900.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
