Dir BBall Sports Performance

Temple University's Athletics Department is searching for a Director of Men's Basketball Sports Performance.

Position Summary :

The Director of Men's Basketball Sports Performance is responsible for developing and managing strength and conditioning programs for Men's Basketball at Temple University. Under the guidance of the Head Men's Basketball Coach, the Director will design and implement programs to improve the athletic performance of student athletes. In addition to sports performance, the incumbent must also implement nutrition programs and injury prevention strategies through corrective exercise protocols. The incumbent will work with the head coach and the athletic training staff to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all student-athletes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience :

Bachelor's degree and at least two or more years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred :

• Previous experience with a Division I Men's Basketball program.
• Knowledge of NCAA and Conference regulations, specifically related to those related to recruiting.
