Understand Medical Diagnosis and Coding, Mastering proficient knowledge of the services we provide Be part of a multi-disciplinary practice that offers a blend of conventional and functional-based care Prepare the office for opening each day by reviewing the facility, opening all systems applications, and ensuring the lobby is clean, neat, and well-stocked with appropriate marketing materials, tissues, etc. Ensure cleanliness of lobby and front office areas throughout the day. Greet every patient in a professional, warm, friendly manner. Register patients, update patient records, and verify information accurately and in a timely manner. Determine, collect, and process patient payments and address collection and billing issues. Ensure returning patients' demographics are correct and HIPAA acknowledgment has been signed within the past year. Checkout patients accurately and timely by collecting balances, providing patient documentation, and following checkout procedures. Ensure charges are complete and accurate. Respond promptly to customer needs, provide excellent customer service, assist patients with follow-up appointments, and fulfill medical documentation requests. Ensure patient flow is timely and organized, prioritizing appropriately. Complete closing procedures by preparing closing documentation and submitting required reports. Maintain complete and accurate documentation. Maintain office supplies. Manage difficult or emotional customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs. Treat people with respect, inspire the trust of others, work with integrity, uphold organizational values. Master administrative tasks including You must be a high-energy person You must be goal-oriented and must love hitting deadlines You must have a coachable attitude You will earn between $30,000 and $36,000 per year with much room for advancement.
