The chosen candidate must be able to train in our Concord office for a minimum of two months. Job Description As a Night & Weekend Dispatcher , you will be the central nervous system of our operations, ensuring our drivers and customers are supported with seamless logistics and communication. This is a critical role that requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to act with a sense of urgency. Route Management : Strategically determine and manage daily routes for a group of 5-10 drivers, making real-time adjustments to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Monitor driver progress, manage time and attendance, and coordinate daily activities with account managers. Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer calls and driver communications, addressing service requests, issues, and questions effectively. Actively promote a positive safety culture and work to improve the productivity of our driving staff. Monitor fuel prices and loading preferences, and assist with data collection for our incentive pay programs. Saturday & Sunday : 4 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 AM Monday & Friday : 4 : 00 PM - 2 : 00 AM Qualifications Required : Previous experience as a dispatcher or a Class A / B driver. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software. A high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of the Stockton and Central Valley geography is a significant plus.
