Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our Geotechnical and Materials Testing Tucson Business Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geotechnical engineering,materials testing, project management, and business development. This role is pivotal in driving the unit's success,

ensuring staff development, profitability, and expanding our client base.

Responsibilities

 Oversee and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within

scope, and budget.

 Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to allocate resources effectively and resolve

project issues promptly.

 Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

 Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of project delivery and workplace

safety.

 Manage the Business Unit’s PL, ensuring profitability and financial targets are met.

 Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including preparing proposals, presentations, and bid

submissions.

 Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat

business.

 Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, and technical staff.

 Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and

development.

 Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.

 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering or materials testing preferred, with at least 5 years in

a project management role.

 Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or ability to obtain within 6 months.

 Proven experience managing complex geotechnical projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.

 Strong business acumen with experience managing PL and driving business growth.
