The Healthcare Analytics Advisor provides year-round strategic consultative services with an integrated focus on the UnitedHealthcare Value Story by analyzing health plan performance to enhance UnitedHealth Group’s role as a trusted advisor and preferred carrier.

If you reside in Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL, or South Florida (West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami), you will enjoy flexible remote work options while tackling challenging problems.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Be a part of a dedicated strategic team assisting complex employer groups within Local Markets in a specific geographic region.
  • Create engaging, client-specific insights and materials for various client engagements.
  • Present findings during client engagements as determined by the Strategist, based on client needs and resource availability.
  • Concentrate on storytelling and deliver compelling insights derived from data and reporting.
  • Utilize data, tools, and resources effectively to convey actionable stories.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of current and proposed client solutions.
  • Collaborate with market strategic team members as needed.
  • Provide constructive feedback to colleagues in the market strategic team to support talent assessment and development.
  • There are no direct reports in this role.
  • Work closely with the broader Account Management Team and other internal partners to address complex customer analytic needs and serve as a strategic analytic expert.
  • Effectively communicate information in a clear and professional manner as a consultative subject matter expert.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in sales, account management, TPA, or consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare costs, quality topics, and emerging industry trends.
  • Intermediate or better skills in Office 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven presentation skills, particularly to director-level and higher audiences.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time based on customer needs.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in data analytics, data science, statistics, or underwriting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experienced in virtual presentations.

    The salary for this role ranges from $71,200 to $127,200 annually for full-time employment, dependent on various factors including local market rates, education, work experience, and certifications. Alongside your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including incentive and recognition programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions (subject to eligibility requirements).
