Job Title : Ramen Cook (Chinese / Japanese Cuisine Specialist)

Location : Brooklyn / Queens / NYC – (Oodles Ramen Bar)

About Us :

Oodles is a fast-casual ramen bar focused on high-quality broths, bold flavors, and a comfortable, authentic environment. We are building out our kitchen and looking for a cook who’s passionate about Chinese or Japanese cooking techniques, especially ramen and related prep.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and cook ramen broth and stock to recipe standards
  • Slice, marinate, and prep meats, greens, noodles, and toppings
  • Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation
  • Assist with inventory, ordering ingredients, and food safety / hygiene
  • Work with kitchen team on efficiency, cleanliness, and speed during service

Required Experience & Skills :

  • Prior experience cooking in a Chinese or Japanese kitchen (ramen experience preferred)
  • Good knife skills, ability to follow recipes, strong sense of taste and seasoning
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple orders
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices
  • Good communication (English and / or Chinese / Japanese a plus)
