• Bonus Offered : Available Opportunity Details : Sampson Regional Medical Center and Sampson Women’s Center is seeking a board eligible / board-certified OB-GYN to join an established practice with one other provider. We seek a skilled and experienced physician who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients. SampsonRMC does not currently offer robotic surgery. GYN Laparoscopic experience required. Highlights include :
• Established practice with one physician
• Sampson Women’s Center is located directly beside the main hospital
• Combined daily patient volume of 25-35
• Average of 27 deliveries monthly w / a monthly average of 11 C-Sections
• 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum rooms
• Nursery is Level 1; Critical newborns are transferred west to Fayetteville (30 miles) or southeast to Wilmington (60 miles)
• Shared Call; Expectation of 7 days / month including 1 required weekend
• Strong hospitalist team with excellent leadership
• 24 / 7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology support
• Wide scope of services provided at the hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology
