Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and treating a variety of developmental disordersOur population consists of Autism (ASD), ADHD, language-based learning disorders, AAC users, motor speech disorders, articulation / phonological disorders, and developmental delays
Timely completion of documentation including daily SOAP notes, progress notes, initial and re-evaluationsImplement evidence based, neurodiversity affirming treatment techniques including sensory-based strategies and a strengths-based approach to improve independence in childhood occupationsCollaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, BCBA's, psychologists, and other team members to provide a whole child approachModify the learning environment to suit patients' skill progressionsEffectively provide parent and family educationEngage in cultural responsiveness when treatment planning for culturally diverse populationEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent Washington State Occupational Therapy License1-3 years experience preferred, but open to new graduatesIf youre ready to get back to why you started this career in the first placewed love to meet you.
