A company is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator responsible for managing the registration process of patients for outpatient behavioral healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to ensure a positive customer / patient experience
Document comprehensive demographic and health information into the electronic health record system
Schedule appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
One year of customer service or call center experience required, preferably in healthcare
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
