Position : Plant / Site / Complex Master Production Scheduling Manager Salary Range : $90K-$105K Summary Of Job : Develops, prepares, and maintains production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Gathers data from internal teams to incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules. Monitors daily production results and revises scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources. Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting. Job Responsibilities : Translate SIOP monthly targets into detailed production schedules focusing on Customer Orders in hand and determining what items should be produced at a specific time. Balance Demand and Supply by structuring detailed production plans while considering manufacturing capabilities, capacities, and supplier lead times to drive a feasible and manageable schedule. Drive and maintain appropriate inventory levels to avoid service issues. Proactively communicate with various departments and across Manufacturing Complex to include Operations, Procurement, Planning, and Finance to ensure alignment and mitigate surprises. Continuously monitor the execution of the Master Production Schedule, proactively identify developing issues, and direct necessary adjustment to drive timely production adherence. Efficiently allocate labor and equipment resources to meet production goals. Account for the additional complexity of multi-plant cascading production scheduling (Mill to Gate; Mill to Gate West; Gate to Gate West) Identify opportunities and institute best practices to supply chain processes. Provide ad hoc analytical support for projects. Define, evaluate, and report out KPIs for Production. Collaborate with team members to increase efficiency utilizing data driven recommendations. Ensure data integrity by maintaining and updating databases, models, and reporting systems in accordance with best practices. Support management's strategic goals with advanced analysis from the production perspective. When required, perform and aid with root cause analysis, collaborating with team members to determine corrective action and apply cross-functional learnings that could include Forecast Accuracy / Fill Rates / Inventory Levels / Safety Stock. Job Requirements : Previous Planning / Scheduling experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates across multiple constituencies Capability of effective planning and priority setting with minimal guidance Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software preferred Intermediate Excel Skills required / preferred MS Office proficiency required / preferred College degree 4 – 7 years relevant or equivalent experience Preferred – Supply Chain Background / Training / Experience Onsite / In-person required US Citizen Physical Requirements : Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.
