JOB SUMMARY : The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients referred to the Rehabilitation Department by qualified practitioners.  This individual interacts with patients of all ages.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education : Graduate of a professional Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensure / Registration / Certification :  Licensed and currently Registered in the State of New York.
• Work Experience : Minimum of 1 year experience for Outpatient department, new graduates will be considered for the Inpatient Department.

Working Conditions :

Manual : significant manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational : Significant occupational risk

Physical Effort : Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force

Physical Environment : Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
