This role will apply industry knowledge, negotiation and relationship skills to build a unique approach to how our clients go to market, delivering best-in-class opportunities while maximizing value.

In This Role You will lead integrated media planning and buying across a portfolio of key client accounts, overseeing full-funnel media strategies across digital, social, programmatic, and traditional channels; provide thought leadership, team guidance, and direct client counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of holistic, data-informed media strategies aligned with client business objectives
  • Oversee media planning and execution across all channels, including digital, social, video, programmatic, and traditional media
  • Manage senior-level client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic lead
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Media Supervisors, Planners, and Assistant Planners, ensuring high-quality work and team development
  • Collaborate closely with Strategy, Creative, Data, and Analytics teams to ensure integrated campaign delivery
  • Guide media budgeting, forecasting, pacing, and performance analysis across campaigns
  • Drive innovation through testing new media platforms, technologies, and partnership opportunities
  • Ensure flawless execution, accountability, and optimization of all media campaigns
  • Represent MRM in senior-level client meetings, internal reviews, and industry events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying, preferably within an agency environment
  • Deep knowledge of media channels, including digital, social, programmatic, and traditional formats
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and mentoring talent
  • Exceptional client management and presentation skills; confident in high-stakes meetings
  • Proficient in media systems such as Prisma, MediaOcean, Google Ads, DSPs, and analytics platforms
  • Skilled in data-driven planning, forecasting, and performance evaluation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving agency environment

    The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $185,000. The actual offer is determined by factors including experience, discipline, market considerations, and tenure.
