We are looking for a tech savvy machinist who wants to provide technical software support. Previous machinist experience in the 4-6+ year range, and comfortable doing programming and setup of machines. They need to truly know how to operate the machine, and not just be a button pusher to make the widgets.
The tech savvy part is they should be comfortable on a computer using Windows products, Teams, and not necessarily have experience with ADO but be comfortable using new software.
Travel will be approx. 30% overall. It can come in waves, but it isn’t a high level of travel, but they will have travel expected, and need to pass a DMV report.
The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical machinist support to our service, sales, and engineering teams for applications dealing with complex knowledge of company product functionality, performance and operating system. Travel to customer sites may occasionally be required.
