Job Description : This position provides therapy services to patients of all ages, including evaluation and assessment, treatment, education, and consultation to improve patients’ abilities to their highest possible level. This position provides services as part of a care team assembled to assure optimal clinical and financial outcomes, under the direction of Essentia Health management and the referring physician. Education Qualifications : Key Responsibilities : This is a casual OT inpatient position at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN Provides therapy evaluation, treatment planning, treatment, patient / caregiver education, and discharge planning for a full caseload of patients Provides all ancillary / administrative requirements for a full caseload of patients, including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other administrative duties Provide physical therapy services across multiple units, including but not limited to : General Medical, ICUs (including but not limited to surgical, medical, and cardiac ICUs), Cardiac Rehabilitation, Orthopedic / Urology, Neurological Rehabilitation, Oncology, and Behavioral Health Demonstrates appropriate communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff (licensed assistants, aides, volunteers) and complies with all organization policies.
