In this role, you'll be on the front lines of our healthcare IT operations-designing, deploying, and supporting infrastructure that directly impacts care center teams and the residents they serve. From cabling installations and network rollouts to desktop support and vendor management, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our systems are secure, efficient, and reliable.
What You'll Do
- Lead infrastructure projects across care centers, including data, voice, and video cabling installations.
- Oversee MDF / IDF power and HVAC needs and maintain field UPS systems.
- Support end users with desktop troubleshooting, PC hardware / software, and network connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and contractors to deliver successful installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Respond to outages and service tickets, ensuring quick recovery in line with business continuity plans.
- Keep accurate documentation of infrastructure, processes, and service records.
- Provide training, share best practices, and help drive forward-looking IT strategies.
- Travel frequently (75%+) to care centers, datacenters, and vendor sites to provide on-site expertise.
What We're Looking For
- Education / Experience :
4-year degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field (or technical school certification with equivalent experience).
- 5-7 years of experience in telecommunications or IT infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
- Certifications : Network+, Security+, CCENT, or CCT (preferred, or ability to obtain once tenured).
- Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of telecom and network infrastructure (LAN / WAN, cabling, voice / data systems).
- Experience with Microsoft OS, Citrix (preferred), and diagnostic / tracking systems.
- Hands-on troubleshooting of PCs, networks, and infrastructure hardware.
- Familiarity with TCP / IP, VoIP, and enterprise voice / data systems.
- Professional Skills :
Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects in high-pressure situations.
- Team player who can collaborate across disciplines and manage vendor relationships effectively.

Location : Based in-region, with travel to care centers and vendor sites (75%+).
Schedule : Full-time, on-call rotation for 24 / 7 support as needed.
