American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift assignment in a Level III teaching hospital, requiring a DC RN license and NRP certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the NICU of a short-term acute care teaching hospitalLevel III neonatal intensive care with a patient ratio of 1 : 3Rotating 12-hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 00), with variable day / night scheduling possibleRequires floating to pediatric transplant, PEDS, and PICU units as neededScheduled for six weekend shifts over a six-week periodUses the Cerner EMR systemResponsibilities include direct care for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU settingMust be flexible with rapidly changing shift assignments and floating to related pediatrics unitsScrubs are not provided; any color is acceptable except white or see-through, and no other hospital logosRequired to complete pre-start modules and orientation, averaging 12 hours and up to 4 billable hoursLocal candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rateRTO during contract not approved for more than 8 days; three or more absences will result in contract terminationCandidates may not be interviewed by manager prior to placementHoliday and weekend coverage as assigned by the unit\n \n Requirements\n
