What You'll Do
- Be the face of our firm, building genuine connections with clients and teammates alike.
- Lead a team of motivated accountants – mentor, review, and cheer them on as they grow.
- Own your projects : set timeframes, make key tax decisions, and dive into complex issues with support from our tax experts.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest tax laws and regulations – your input keeps us sharp.
- Prepare and review a wide range of tax returns, from straightforward to complex, primarily for real estate and construction clients.
- Analyze IRS notices, draft thoughtful responses, and tackle non-routine tax questions with confidence.
- Plan proactively : create tax projections and strategies that help clients thrive year-round.
- Jump into client meetings, offering insights and support to both staff and clients whenever needed.
- Balance multiple projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly and deadlines are comfortably met.
- Partner with firm leaders and develop your industry knowledge – we invest in your growth.
- Spot opportunities to offer clients even more value, and help us grow our business organically.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting or related field.Tax experience with real estate and construction industryOn your way to a CPA, or already certified? Even better.Active member (or eligible for membership) in AICPA and NCACPA.Confident using modern tax software and digital tools.Passionate about personal and professional development – meet your CPEs and keep learning.Strong time management and organizational skills – you know how to prioritize and deliver.Valid driver's license and a solid driving record (for occasional client travel).Physical & Practical Details
