Louisville, KY OR RN Job Details Location : Louisville, KY 40202 (Kentucky nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract Shift : 6 : 30am - 7 : 00pm (12-hour shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Hours : Saturday rotation every 6 weeks Call Requirements : Minimum 40 hours per 6 weeks Unit : 31 state-of-the-art Operating Rooms Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio EMR : Cerner Scrubs : Provided by facility Estimated Weekly Salary : $1740 - $1860 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Kentucky RN license (Registered Nurse) BLS and NIH Stroke certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Prior travel nursing experience preferred Experience with high acuity surgical patients preferred Proficiency with advanced surgical technology (Mako, DaVinci, O-Arm, Rosa robots) Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn across multiple service lines OR RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients in a fast-paced operating room environment Assist with complex surgical procedures including neuro (spine / cranial), orthopedic (robotics / arthroscopic), thoracic, vascular, transplant, and ENT / radical neck surgeries Maintain a 1 : 1 patient ratio to ensure individualized nursing care Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and utilize advanced surgical equipment Participate in call rotation and scheduled weekend shifts Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development Comply with facility policies, procedures, and dress code standards Take the next step in your nursing career with this exciting travel OR RN job in Louisville, Kentucky.
