Job Description

Position :  Substance Abuse Therapist / Licensed Therapist - LMSW (TN only)

Type :  Full Time, On-site

Locations :  Multiple locations in Tennessee (TN)

Purpose :  Provide counseling services to maintain patient care within the Center, creating a safe and balanced environment for patients.

Key Duties :

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation.
  • Coordinate care with medical professionals.

Requirements :

  • Education :  Master of Social Work (LMSW - TN only).
  • Experience :  Experience with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Certifications :  CPR and First Aid.

    • Physical and Emotional Demands :

  • Sedentary and ambulant work with occasional physical exertion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and handle stressful situations.
  • Risk of exposure to infections; follow "Universal Precautions."

    • Competencies :

  • Accurate patient file maintenance.
  • Comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Clinical services and patient advocacy.
  • Regular attendance and adherence to company standards.

    • Continuing Education :  Participate in mandatory educational programs and maintain professional certifications.
