job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCPR certified (American Heart Association, Basic Life Support for healthcare providers) High degree of skill with hand instrumentation and ultrasonic inserts Experience in digital radiographs and Dentrix Enterprise electronic patient records preferred Scaling and Root planing Certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our Short Pump office!
- Signing bonus available
Typical work hours are 8 am - 5 pm.
We have other Richmond area locations available for Full-time, Part-time and Temporary positions. We are accepting applications from Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) in the state of Virginia AND recent hygiene school graduates awaiting licensure.

Physical Demands
Hygienists use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Good eye-hand coordination is required. Repeat the same movements. Bend or twist their body. Stand for long periods of time. Walk for long periods of time. See details of objects that are less than a few feet away. Understand the speech of another person. Speak clearly so listeners can understand. Able to assist in lifting patients into the operatory chair from a wheelchair. The skills used place demand on the whole body, but particularly the back, neck, upper body muscles, arms and hands, and vision.
