Licensed Mental Health Therapist – CanaryCare (West Virginia)

Location : Hybrid / Remote within West Virginia

Job Type : Part-time 1099 Contractor

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an empathetic, licensed clinician passionate about helping clients improve emotional wellness through individualized, evidence-based therapy.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual, family, and / or group therapy sessions (telehealth and / or in-person).
  • Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, and documentation in compliance with state standards.
  • Use evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.) tailored to client needs.
  • Participate in supervision, case consultation, and continuing education.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Active, unrestricted West Virginia license as one of the following :
  • LICSW / LCSW – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Clinical Social Worker

  • LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Licensed Psychologist
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience with trauma-informed, CBT, or integrative therapy approaches.
  • Experience serving rural or underserved communities.
